We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to join Bermonds Locke opening in Spring 2020.
This 142-room Locke aparthotel comprising 99 studios and 43 one bedroom apartments, will offer all-day dining, a coffee shop, cocktail bar, co-working facilities, two meeting rooms and a gym.
A short distance from The City, the Design Museum, Borough Market, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge, our design-led aparthotel in Southwark will be ideally located for the uber-hip Bermondsey, an area that is equally rich in historical interest as it in personality, individuality and soul.
In an (overly simplistic) nutshell our Assistant General Managers are:
- Confident and creative individuals, as outgoing as they are passionate about what they do
- Entrepreneurial – with a nose for opportunity and the drive to deliver
- Endlessly curious – curators of cultural experiences and the anchors of the local neighbourhood

We believe that the art of hospitality has suffered as hotel teams have been over-loaded with the complexity of revenue management and commercial targets. We free our hotel teams from this burden, and empower our Managers to deliver the brand, curate experiences, lead their teams and astonish our guests.
Our Managers don’t shy away from the fundamentals either; from H&S responsibility to cost control, to reports, SLA’s and SOPs – they’re all there but we manage them with soul.
